Each worlds offers a twist into the core mechanics, as not only you get new enemies and items, the mechanics change to match the world's game (in the Pacman world you can only defeat the enemies if you eat the power pills, in the Arkanoid you are on top of a paddle and the enemies spawn over bricks, etc.) culminating in a unique (and often insane) boss fight. The art and the animations are absolutely amazing. You can tell that there was a ton of love and work put into each one of them. I can't praise them enough. They are a joy watch, but at the same time, they don't distract you from the game itself. They blend perfectly into it.And, last but not least, the game runs super smoothly, even in my old desktop, which makes it all the more enjoyable :DEdit.: Over a year after the game came out, the developers keep adding more content!. This game vastly surpassed my expectations. It caught my attention when looking for arcade games, but it actually managed to go beyond that. The art is great and full of nostalgia. Lots of variations based on retro arcade games. Somewhere between Pang Adventures and The Bug Butcher. But find that I'm playing this quite a bit. Started out a bit slow on the difficulty but ramped up nicely but at some points it almost feels unfair and just luck that you can pass a level. Think that's one thing I might miss from Pang Adventures, there you seem to be able to establish a pattern for a difficult level but here things fall out of the pattern based on background interaction and strategy which is a bit more like bug butcher. Overall, I would definately recommend to anyone who likes Pang or Bug Butcher.. A love letter to arcade games? Great art style, fairly repetitve... but well done. Pick it up when it's on sale, and you might be pleasantly surprised.. I've been waiting for Juanito's release for a long time and now I can assure you that this game is really amazing! I loved everything about it. The ideas for each world, the colors and the animation are awesome. It's really funny and you want to play it until the end without stop.And when you can't stop dying over and over in the same level, you will feel it like a personal matter until you win it! Besides you can win a lot of funny anti-achievements that makes you feel better. I really enjoyed it, and congrats to everyone who made this game. You can see all the work and effort in it.. Great indie game, dont expect a complex AAA game, but a game with very simple mecanics (left, right, shoot up and dodge) but with very entertaining levels, variety between them, and some nice humor. Recomended if you value easy gameplay that is hard to master
