It wouldn't hurt if there were more desert\/tundra city textures, or a road made for desert, as the current one is far too close to the color of desert. You can use the "snow" road option, but then you have a teal blue on the sand. Also, if you accidentally hit "new map" while working on a map, you're gonna have a bad time, as there is no confirmation box. I do enjoy this, but it has room for improvement. Worth the price.
